Healthy Eyes Start Here
It cannot be stressed enough how important it is to preserve and maintain good vision. Why? Because good vision is critical in sustaining our quality of life, conducting daily activities, learning, communicating, working and so much more.
Unfortunately, however, there are a number of conditions that can limit our ability to see clearly, potentially restricting our livelihood and impeding on our health.
Where the common misconception is that someone with impaired vision is totally blind-unable to see or perceive light-it is important to remember that visual impairment is not necessarily totally disabling and that these impairments can be improved, corrected and sometimes permanently repaired.
As an advocate of patient rights, we believe you should have a complete understanding of all aspects of your eye’s health, and it is our pleasure to empower you with this essential information as an important, yet complimentary public service.
Beyond providing you with community education articles offering up-to-date information on a variety of conditions that can affect the eye, the Rand Eye Institute and the Rand Eye Foundation offers a variety of public speaking forums, including public information seminars, speakers bureau lecture series and continuing education lectures.
Designed to personally deliver sight-effecting information to the public, special interest community groups, and health care professionals, please contact our Community Education Department at (954) 782-1700. If you would like to arrange for one of our doctors to lecture before your organization.
